Pruning Shrubs

Wondering about when to prune your shrubs? Shrubs should be pruned a little every year,to avoid having to do a very aggressive prune.
Also shrubs that bear flowers should be pruned after flowering, and shrubs that flower in the summer should be pruned in early spring.
